FAQ

NEB has produced elite girls basketball tournaments and exposure events across the United States since 1996. It is based in Shelbyville, Tennessee and runs eight events a year in Tennessee and Kentucky, including TFN's Run 4 Roses in Louisville.

NEB is a tournament company, not a league. Teams enter one event at a time. Read more about NEB.

NEB divisions are high school graduation years, not ages. A team enters the division of the class its players graduate with. The 2027 division is this year's seniors, 2028 is juniors, 2029 is sophomores, 2030 is freshmen, and 2031 through 2034 are 8th grade down to 5th grade.

Roses Rising Stars is the exception: it plays by grade, 4th through 7th.

• Showtime Shootout, Shelbyville, TN, March.
• The Clash, Cincinnati, OH, April.
• The Last Dance, Lebanon, TN, May.
• The Classic, Louisville, KY, May.
• Battle in the Boro, Lebanon, TN, June.
• Roses Rising Stars, Run 4 Roses Classic and Run 4 Roses Championship, Kentucky Exposition Center, Louisville, July.

See everything on the Events page. Run 4 Roses has its own page: Run 4 Roses.

No. Battle in the Boro is NEB's June event in Lebanon, Tennessee. Battle of the Boro is a different company's event. If you are looking for the NEB event, it is on the Events page.

Every event carries a game guarantee. The Last Dance guarantees three games. Showtime Shootout, The Clash, The Classic and Battle in the Boro each guarantee four. Teams play pool games first and are then seeded into brackets.

The guarantee for each event is listed with its entry fee on the Events page.

All on this site. The Schedule page lists every game by day, court and division. Scores update as games finish, Standings show pool records, and Brackets follow the seeding through the championship game.

Each team also has its own page with its schedule, results and roster. Find it on the Teams page.

When a team registers on this site we email a 5 character team code and create the team page automatically. The code is the key to the Manage Roster page, where the coach adds players and jersey numbers. The team page then shows the roster, schedule, scores and standings.

Keep the code private. If it is lost, use the Lost your team code page.

Everyone who coaches at an NCAA certified event must be approved before the event through USA Basketball and the Basketball Certification System (BBCS). Head coaches, assistant coaches and scorekeepers all need a USA Basketball Gold License, a BBCS account for every coach and player, and photo ID at check in. Only NCAA certified individuals receive a coaches' armband.

Start with the USA Basketball Gold License and the BBCS. Details are on the College Coaches page.

Run 4 Roses is Stay to Play: every participant stays in a partner hotel or opts out by paying the $125 per player fee.

Hotel booking, team blocks and the housing opt out form are linked from the Run 4 Roses page.

Yes, NEB events charge gate admission. At the Showtime Shootout the gate is $20 on Saturday and $15 on Sunday, cash only. Gate prices for the other events are posted on each event page as they are set.
